This certificate may be completed in one year. Main responsibilities include troubleshooting a computer for problems and finding the quickest best solutions to fix them. Students learn how to support computer hardware and software issues, address network problems, and protect systems from viruses and malware. This degree helps students prepare for industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+ and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. ITSY 1342 in this degree has been approved by National Security Agency, NSA certification (applies to SPC only).
