Network and Cloud Computing, Level 2 Certificate


Students are provided an in-depth exploration of traditional computer networking, Cisco specific networks, and cloud-based options such as AWS, Palo Alto Networks and more. Students are introduced to each network including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Students are prepared to address hardware, software, networking, and network security issues so they may be employed in dynamic Information Technology firms and departments to support client satisfaction. The Level 2 Certificate is intended to prepare students in four semesters for Network Administrator roles or entry level computer networking specialist positions and to earn the CompTIA Network+,  A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security+, AWS CCP, and more.

Cisco Exploration courses 1 through 3 of the Cisco Networking Technologies Academy provides students with a basic foundation in networking.   Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are prepared to earn the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) certification.  Through this three course series, students will learn to operate the router and switch IOS, configure DHCP, NAT, frame relay and a host of other protocols in a simulated local area and wide area networked environment.  Students will learn how to manage these local and wide area networks, using the latest WAN technologies.
