The objective of the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist Certificate is to introduce students to the various aspects of designing Search Engine-friendly web sites. After learning how to create a basic well designed site, students will learn and apply Search Engine Optimization concepts such as keyword analysis and placement, back-linking, website promotion via social networks and analyzing website traffic. Through emphasis on practical application, students will develop a skill set necessary to create usable as well as visible web sites.
