The Floral Design Technician Occupational Skills Award (OSA) provides students with instruction in the techniques of arranging and an understanding of the distribution aspect of the floral industry. Florists and floral designers are a large part of the service industry in San Antonio. Hotels and convention areas use floral designers to keep the ambiance fresh with the replacement of potted plants and fresh flowers regularly in foyers and lobbies.
