The 20-hour Advanced Manufacturing Technology Level I Certificate will enable students to earn an entry-level credential in  Advanced Manufacturing.  The award  provides students with the foundation for maintaining, troubleshooting, operating, and planning the assembly of industrial technology systems.

The AMT training addresses the evolving demand for automated manufacturing and the integration of smart technologies with traditional manufacturing methods. The program emphasizes versatile skills across various manufacturing technologies, including mechanical, electrical, electronics, and fluid power components. Hands-on training on electromechanical devices, motor control, PLC programming, industrial robotics, troubleshooting, and maintenance complements theoretical knowledge, ensuring proficiency in both areas. The curriculum extends beyond the classroom, providing practicum experiences that offer real-world workplace training to equip students with problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills vital in industrial settings.
