MATH 1342 - Elementary Statistical Methods
Prerequisites: TSIA2: 950-990 or 910-949 and Diagnostic Level 6 or TSIA 350+ or Math 0320 or enrollment in Math 0142 Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410
Collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data, and probability. Analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation and regression, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Use of appropriate technology is recommended.
This course fulfills the Mathematics foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, and Empirical Quantitative Skills.
