Kinesiology: Associate of Arts concentration in Kinesiology

Return to: Programs and Courses - Kinesiology & Health The Associate of Arts concentration in Kinesiology will provide students with the course work necessary to transfer to a four-year institution to major in kinesiology or exercise science. This program will provide students with fundamental skills and knowledge needed to teach physical education in the school system or community, or to direct fitness and wellness programs in commercial and corporate settings.

Degree Requirements (Total Credit Hours 60)
Communications (10) Core - 2 courses (6 credit hours)
Life and Physical Sciences (30) Core - 2 courses (8 credit hours)
Additional Requirements (16 credit hours)

Courses from the Additional Requirements area may not be used to satisfy Core Curriculum requirements.
Not all courses that satisfy core requirements are offered at all Alamo Colleges.
This concentration is oriented towards Bachelor of Science - Kinesiology degree with UTSA and TAMU-SA.
Articulation agreements are available with both institutions.

A course may be sued only once to fulfill degree requirements.
