Digital Art: Associate of Arts, concentration in Digital Arts and Media

The AA in Digital Arts & Media degree offers coursework designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year university or art school to major or minor in an area of creative digital media, and to offer training in industry standard digital media applications for students who are preparing to enter one of the many arts professions including studio arts or one of the wide‐ranging applications of digital media, such as graphics, design or digital imaging.

Students who intend to major in Digital Arts & Media should meet with their advisor in Fine and Performing Arts to determine their degree plan and to explore their options to apply their skills or transfer to a four-year institution.

Courses from the Additional Requirements area may not be used to satisfy Core Curriculum requirements.
* Art History I and II are non-sequential and can be taken in any order. Courses taken to satisfy the concentration area may not be applied to the core.
**It is the responsibility of the student to meet with an advisor in order to check with Upper Division transfer institution for verification of transfer of credit into their program. Some second-level studios may not transfer but may help the student in portfolio development required for transfer.
