Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical This degree is designed to meet the immediate need of the airline and related industries affected by the events on September 11, 2001. The program was prompted by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, and addresses the requirements for training of security personnel. Employment for graduating students may be available in almost any area of safety – transportation and facility security. Positions may include but are not limited to supervision, management, inspection and program development/design.
