This Statewide  Career Foundations Core Certificate allows students to find additional employment while moving toward the AAS degrees in either Production Technician or Process Technology.

With this award, you may seek jobs such as:

Petroleum Pump Systems Operators, Refinery Operators and Gaugers at an entry level

This Statewide accepted Process and Production Technology program of study meets the industry’s needs to increase the availability of process technicians in the oil and gas industry that is expanding in south Texas. This Career Foundations Core Certificate allows students to find additional employment while moving toward the AAS degrees. Oil and Gas companies may not hire persons with felony convictions. The college does not guarantee employment to any student in the program.
