The Floral Design certificate allows students to step out of the greenhouse for instruction in techniques in the arranging and distribution aspect of the floral industry. Florists and floral designers are a large part of the service industry in San Antonio. Hotels and convention areas use floral designers to keep the ambiance fresh with the replacement of potted plants and fresh flowers regularly in foyers and lobbies.
