Certified Flight Instructor Level 1 Preparation Certificate

Certified Flight Instructors, or CFIs, teach students how to fly an airplane. CFIs offer instruction on private piloting, instrument and commercial training and ground instruction. They also perform FAA-regulated flight check outs and proficiency checks. Students not meeting these attendance requirements will not be certified. All discipline specific courses must be passed with a grade of “B” or better to graduate with this award. All Flight courses have additional Special Program Tuition.
