Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410 This course is a survey course for non-science majors. Topics of current interest including weight control, food labeling, diet in relation to health and physical fitness, and age- and health related nutritional needs are studied.
This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
