BIOL 1413 - General Zoology Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420
Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410 Recommended for science majors. The study of the structure, function and physiology of animal cells, tissues organs, and organ systems. Included is a survey of the diversity of animal and animal-like organisms. Emphasis is placed on the classification, morphology, physiology, and ecology of all animals. The laboratory exercises will complement the lecture topics.
This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
