PHYS 2426 - University Physics II
Prerequisites: PHYS 2425 and MATH 2414 or equivalents with a C or better Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420
This course follows . Topics include the basic principles and applications of electricity, magnetism, electromagnetic waves, optical phenomena, and selected topics in modern physics. Emphasis is on problem solving and integrating concepts from mechanics and calculus. Computer applications relevant to course content may be utilized.
This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.
