BMGT 2375 - Financial Management of Smaller FirmsThe course focuses on developing an entrepreneurial mindset while teaching essential financial management skills for small businesses. Students learn to analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, in order to assess business health and inform decision-making. Key course topics, such as budgeting, internal controls, and cash flow management, address the unique challenges faced by smaller firms. The course also explores entrepreneurial career paths and highlights the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship compared to working in larger organizations.
