The Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Liberal Arts is appropriate for students who desire to earn an associate degree, but who have not yet selected a major or who may be considering several majors. This plan is also for students desiring a general liberal arts degree. The degree is based on the college’s core curriculum and additional hours in transferable college hours. Students following this plan have the opportunity to sample courses in a variety of areas, which can be very helpful in identifying areas of interest.

Select a minimum of 15 semester hours of academic, transfer level courses. To insure that the courses selected will also be accepted at the intended transfer college/university/professional program and will apply to your major, contact the advisor at your transfer institution.
