The Department of Kinesiology & Health offers the physical fitness and wellness courses required by the Palo Alto College Core Curriculum. The department also offers options for further studies in the field of Kinesiology. The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Kinesiology prepares students for careers in teacher preparation or to direct fitness, wellness, or health awareness in commercial, corporate, and institutional settings.

Palo Alto College has signed 2+2 articulation agreements with area colleges and universities. Students following these degree plans should consult with a faculty advisor for guidance.
