Computer Information Systems: Help Desk Support Specialist Level I Certificate

The Helpdesk Support Specialist Level I Certificate is designed for the student who wants to break into the technical field at a good entry level. Almost all companies have a helpdesk department and it could make the student become more employable. Each of the courses in this program is designed to give the student a broad background in software, hardware, operating systems, and networking. The courses will help the helpdesk support specialist assist end-users in their efforts to trouble-shoot the problems they face on a daily basis in typical business settings. Students will also learn the protocols of how best to deal with different types of clients and the terms to use to make them feel that the helpdesk specialist is competent and capable of helping them with their computer problems. Just as important is the fact that all of these classes are accredited and will be eligible for transfer into either an associate degree or an undergraduate degree if the student decides to further his or her education in order to qualify for more promotions within a company.
