Aviation Technology: Aviation Management, A.A.S.

Return to: Degree Plans & Certificates - Academic/Technical The Aviation Management program prepares an individual at the mid-management level for various areas of the aviation industry including support positions in airport management; air carrier operations; corporate aviation departments; and national, state, and local aviation agencies, authorities or boards. Potential positions also may be available with aviation service organizations and manufacturers.
Classes leading to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification must adhere to FAA guidelines. These guidelines require students to attend a minimum number of classroom hours. Students not meeting these attendance requirements will not be certified. All discipline specific courses must be passed with a grade of “B” or better to graduate with this degree.
