Network and Cloud Computing Level 1 Certificate

Students are introduced to basic and intermediate level traditional computer networking; Cisco specific networks, switching, routing, and wireless; fundamentals of cloud computing; and network security. The Level 1 Certificate is intended to prepare students in two semesters for entry level computer networking specialist positions and to earn the CompTIA Network+ and A+.

Additional Program Information


Cisco Exploration courses 1 and 2 of the Cisco Networking Technologies Academy provides students with a basic foundation in networking.  Students will learn to operate the router and switch IOS, configure DHCP, NAT, frame relay and a host of other protocols in a simulated local area and wide area networked environment.
