Integrated Reading & Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: INRW 0420
Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0305 This course examines the history and theory of international trade and global economic development. Economic, social, cultural, and political issues which impact the global economy and basic human welfare are studied. This course is cross-listed as GEOG 2312 . The student may register for either Econ. 2311 or GEOG 2312 but may receive credit for only one of the two courses.
This course fulfills the Social and Behavioral Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Social Responsibility.
