HITT 1375 - Introduction to Statistics for Health Care Administration
This course introduces health care administration students to the fundamental concepts of statistics with a focus on practical application in health care settings. Designed for learners with no prior background in statistics or algebra, the course emphasizes understanding over computation. Students will explore descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, probability, and basic hypothesis testing, all within the context of health care decision-making. By the end of the course, students will be able to interpret statistical information, apply basic statistical reasoning to health care problems, and communicate findings in a clear, professional manner.
