ENGT 1402 - Circuits II for Engineering TechnologyPrerequisites: ENGT 1401, MATH 2412 or MATH 1314 or equivalent Principles of alternating current circuits and their application to series, parallel, series-parallel circuitry including Ohm's Law, Kirchoff's Laws, batteries, resistance, capacitance, inductance, and magnetism. Topics include Node-voltage and Mesh-current analysis; Thevenins, Nortons, maximum power transfer, source transformation, and Superposition theorems applied to electrical circuits. Electrical test and measurements instruments and their implementation will be covered. Use of computer software PSPICE and MATLAB for circuit analysis will be introduced.
